9 Missing Pages (MASTERMINDS) [EN]
few weeks after ..police found
the hotel in which Chandrashegaran was staying..they searched the place..they
found his cloths and other stuff in room..it seems like he didn't leave the
place..but they had no clue about his hideout..hotel owner said he left here..a
month ago...and after that he never came back..by approximate date..Jasim
understood that he left just after setting the trap for Freddy &
Alexander..
after few days..Jasim called Samson
Jasim : Hello sir..I have few
doubts..I need to search Alexander's house..I need a search warrant for that..
Samson : I will do the necessary
formalities for it..But..For What ..What are you looking for ?
Jasim : How can I say
something...only based on my intuition sir..give me the warrant..I believe...we
got it..
Soon Jasim got search warrant because of Samson's
influence..then Jasim went to Alexander's house...and asked Molly & Aleena
to stay..in the hall..and asked his sub-ordinates to search everywhere in the
house..soon they found a small brief case..which was concealed in an almirah on
the top floor inside Alexander's bed room..It was locked with a combination
number..Since it was hidden..in a secret cabin..Jasim knew that..this is what
he looking for..Jasim asked a constable to break the lock..they broke the lock
..and found the missing pages of diary..Jasim read all of them...and underlined
some of the sentences..and marked and noted few dates..on diary..and he went
office with that briefcase..
Jasim : My intuition was
right..sir..please read this underlined sentences...
Samson read it..
"Today I got attacked by
Chandrashgaran..infront of the bar..I think..Somehow he came to know the
secret..he was yelling at me...that he will kill me..before attracting more
attention..I managed to push him away..and got into vehicle.. "
Jasim : (showing another page..)
now read this...
Samson started to read that
portion like this..
"I went to Thankappan &
Freddy..but..it was not them..they..didn't tell anyone about it..and why should
they..because..in their prespective..we all are equally responsible for the
"accident""
Jasim took another page..and
asked Samson to read it..
Jasim : (by showing a
sentence)Now from here...
Samson read it..
" Yesterday neight somebody broke in
here(means Alexander's house) ..I was not there at that time..So for time
being..I escaped his clutches I think..God is with me..I got a hotel bill from
there..it seems like that is where he is staying..Now I have no time to
waste..While he is alive we (Alex & his family) will never get peace..he will
hunt us.."
Samson looked at Jasim with a
shock
Jasim : Yes..sir..what you r
thinking is right....Now we can't find him among the living people..because..he
is dead..You can confirm it..when you read this..
Jasim took another page and gave
to Samson
Samson read it..
"Now I can sleep without any worries..I
took care of him..Now he is with his beloved wife and son"
Jasim : Sir did u see the
date...that was the date you told me to investigate house breaking...that Saturday...you
remember?
Now it make sense..Why he was
nervous and not cooperating with our investigation..Alexander thought
that..there may be any other clues hidden there, which may lead us to
Chandrashegaran..and eventually...We will arrest Alexander for Sharath's
murder..Just after my visit..he may went out to find & kill
Chandrashegaran..and he succeeded..
Samson : Jasim..How did you reach
the assumption that Alex may have killed Chandrashegaran ?
Jasim : We all tried to find him
by searching all over the Kerala and we even took help of media..but
still..there was not even a single clue..about his hideout..we found his cloths
and other stuff in a hotel..and according to Chandrashgaran...after setting up
the traps..he just needed to pack ..and leave Trivandrum AsAP..
In his prespective..he is
untraceable..and there is no link ..to connect him to Alexander or Freddy..So
he can even go back to Ernakulam & leave there..
Sir..I came back from Ernakulam on
train..during that time..I had nothing to do..So I just read the diaries..there
were few days..that u missed...From that I came to know that..Alexander was the
Doctor who attended Savithri's accident..
Jasim took the Diary..and gave it to Samson and asked to read..
That was dated 2 years back..Samson started to
read it..
Today was my last day in Ernakulam..everything,ends
here..my reputation is ruined..If I see Sharath one more time..I will kill him
..But I think Now it is out of the question..I am closing this chapter..that
will be better for Molly & Aleena..I hope we can start a new life in
Trivandrum
Jasim : when I read this..I understood that Alex..used
to wrtie everything in his diary..including..his secrets..thoughts..and all.And
he killed Sharath when he get the opportunity...So I thought...he may have
killed Chandrashegaran too..So I told them to search for his body in all
hospitals..
Jasim found a gun with silencer in the brief
case..Jasim checked it and understood that one bullet is fired..from it..
soon they got news..that..they identified a
body with a bullet was buried nearly one month ago..they kept body for few
days..but nobody came to take it..so took a photo of it..and burried..it..by
checking with the photo & details(height.,build type..etc) of body in
postmortem report..they confirmed that it was Chandrashegaran..they took the
case as murder..and an investigation was going on there..to find who was the
victim and who killed him..etc..
Jasim told Samson...
Ok sir..Now case is
solved...but..there is nobody to arrest..they both (Chandrashegaran and
Alexander) took care of the selves..we have nothing more to do..I am going to
home..I read some rest..
Samson : wait...I have one more
doubt..How did Alexander recognised sharath..when he saw him accidently on that
night..According to Alex..Sharath was still in Ernakulam..isn't it ?
Jasim : No sir..I had shown you
only the important details from diary..That is.. which will help us solve the
case..Alex had seen Sharath..few times in crowd..and Alex thought that..Sharath
didn't recognize him or didn’t see him.. may be..Sharath also saw Alex..and
thought the same way..and may be ..he mentioned it to Chandrashegaran
also..that is why Chandrashegaran came to the conclusion that..Alex is the killer..
one more thing..when Alex saw Sharath for the first time in Trivandrum..Alex
was living a peaceful happy life with his family..but when he saw him on that night..it
was different.. At that time Alex had lost his family because of Sharath..So he
used the opportunity..ok..sir that’s it!..
Jasim got into jeep and asked driver to drop
him in his home..

Jasim explained the whole events...
What I am going to tell are the events starting
from October 25th midnight..
On that day it was around 1' O
Clock midnight..Alexander,Freddy & Thankappan started their journey...in
Alexander's Car..Freddy was driving..Alexander was sitting beside him..Thankappan
was sleeping or trying to sleep on the back seat..after half an hour car hits
Sharath....and they continue their journey..They thought that...there is no
witness and so they are safe..but..somehow..Sharath's father was able to identify
the vehicle which killed Sharath..then he decideed to take their lives..after
enquiring in surrounding area..he
understood...that...there is only one possible destination for such an
expensive vehicle..that is Vishwambaran's bunglow..So he reached there..and asked
Kesav about the passengers of that vehicle..but Kesav was not aware of presence
of Thanakappan..That is why Thankappan is still alive..
Chandrashgaran knew his own strength and weakness..he
knew that he can't defeat them by his physical strength..because..Chandrashgaran
was short and very lean ..So he decided
to poison them..
So he observed them from a distance and waited
for his opportunity.. To kill Freddy he came as an imaginary lady called
Annie..his physical appearance helped him to fool Freddy & Achu very
well..He played a mute & dumb old lady...so that nobody could identify his
by his voice...his idea was to put poison in the jug placed on the consulting
room..in order to do that..he needed to keep Freddy away from that seat for
just a few seconds..for that he convinced Freddy that he is a having a severe
headache...so that Freddy will go to "medicine room" to take the
medicine..for him...even though he put poison in the jug..At that time Freddy
was really lucky..accidently Freddy broke that jug...
I think may be next day itself he realized
that...Freddy is still alive...Since Chandrashgaran's cover was still not blown
away..he decided to repeat his trick..but this time Freddy give him a
prescription...So he didn't get a chance...So he was disappointed and
leaving...then he suddenly saw the jug on the hall...Since he already overheard
Achu will be away for two days...and he saw that Achu leaving the place... he
thought that ..Achu..will not come back for 2 days...So he knew that...within 2
day's Freddy will somehow drink the water and he will die.. on that table......
When water on the consulting room was
finished...Freddy drank water from..The poisoned jug..and he died...but this
happened on Sunday night......
By observing Alexander he realized that... he
had to create the opportunity..So he decided to use his previous experience as
a thief..to finish the job..on the same Friday...he broke into Alexander's
house..by cutting the iron bars in window...When I tried to enter through that
gap..and failed I realized that it was impossible for a normal man to enter
through that gap...only a child or a very lean & short person..can do
it..but a child will not be that clever to use chilly powder to cover the smell
So..I knew that we were looking for a short & very lean man..he put poison
in the first thing that he saw...which would definitely work..that was the half
bottle liquor placed on the same bed room..and left...Alexander drunk that
bottle of whiskey only on Tuesday..night..and died...
Samson & everyone else was shocked to
hear...all this...after understanding the chain of events..
Samson : But...How ? How did
Chandrashgaran...identify the vehicle..that killed Sharath..!! ??
Jasim : I was asking the same
question to myself..until I came to know that..Sharath..left a number in his
mobile..that 55777..from this number Chandrashgaran identified the vehicle...
Samson : But How ? How he was
able to identify..the car by that number..
Jasim : Sir..Accident happened in
night...So because of the head light he may not be able to see the person..So
he may have seen only the number...while they were arguing...but...if we
exclude place code...a vehicle number...alone can't identify..the vehicle.. and
number will not be this big..also...SO I understood that this includes place
code...Sharath was using a 1100 Nokia handset... by 557777 he ment KL-7 777
while saying this..Jasim took an old mobile and asked them to look on
keypad...and shown them that alphabet "j,k & l" are on the same number..5..
Now see here...I am going to type...KL-7 777
without...any space or punctuation..
and Jasim typed... k(5)l(5) 7 7 7
7 and then he show them that in display..it was
55777
Jasim : But how did an
ordinary..man like Chandrashgaran was able to identify this hidden clue...that
was the next question came into the mind...then I thought about it a while. Then
I realized following facts...number one...Chandrashgaran used potassium cyanide
to kill Freddy & used a poison which is fatal but will take sometime to
kill..which ensures that victim had to suffer a lot before he dies...number
two..Kesav told us...the stranger asked him "who all were there in
Alexander's car"..means... He knew that it was Alexander's car that killed
him.. just wanted to know anybody else is involved in it..and number
three..Chandrashegaran did not know much about mobile phone...so it was hard
for me to believe..he was able to identify that number..as KL-7 777...But he
will be able to identify that number so easily just by seeing 777 itself..if he
already knew that vehicle..& owner is an enemy of him..
....after stopping for sometime..Jasim
told Samson
Sir... I belive that Molly &
Aleena can tell you about that better than me..
Come on ...Molly...There is
nothing to hide...tell them what happened ..
Molly started to tell the events
that happened 2 years back...
Molly : 2years before Alexander
was working in Ernakulam..one day morning I woke up by hearing non- stop
calling bell..when I opened the door I saw 2 people ..Mr .Chandrashegaran and
his son Sharath
Chandrashegharan : Is the doctor
there ?..we want to see him it is a very urgent case..can you please tell him ?
Molly : Who are..you ? what is
the matter ? He told me that today he is taking leave..
Chandrashegaran : I am
chandrashegaran..and this is my son Sharath..my..wife...
suddenly Sharath interrupted the
conversation.
Sharath(in angry) : There..is no
time to explain everything...my dear father..please...mother is dying
there...please tell doctor to save my mother..
Molly : What happened to your
mother ?
Sharath : She met with an
accident while she coming back from temple ..please call the
doctor...please...I beg you...
Molly went to Alexander and told
him all the things..even though first he was not ready to go to hospital...when
Sharath & Chandrashegaran begged him & molly reminded him this is all
about a human life..he agreed..and Alexander took his car and went with
Chandrashgaran and sharath..
Molly continued the story .....
After that we heard about the death of Chandrashegaran's wife..there was
fatal wound on the head..which required an immediate surgery ...cost of that
surgery was not affordable by Chandrashegaran's family..and Hospital Management
was not ready to bear the expense so she died.. After that in Sharath's
leadership they formed a action council & attacked hospital... & there
was a strike in front of the hospital...finally hospital management put all the
blame on him (Alexander) and fired him from hospital...even after that Sharath
attacked him ...even our daughter had to suffer...her friends and collegues
were saying .."Your father is monster who only cares about the money..he
doesn't care what happened to his patient"
after that we decided to leave that place..So
we came here (Trivandrum) ..one of his(Alexander's) friend helped him to get a
job here..
Jasim : Why did you go to
Bangalore ?
Molly : when we shifted to here
....Slowly we started to forget everything & we were enjoying our life..one
day Aleena (daughter)got a job offer in Banglore...But Alex was very attached
to her..So he tried to stop her..he didn’t want to send her that far..
But she took it in wrong
way...and they started arguing about it ..in between accidentally...my dear
daughter told her father that they were right...you are really a selfish
monster..who doesn’t care about any one else..I knew..she didn't mean it...but
it was unbearable for Alex..he slapped her very hard..So she decided to leave
here..she told him..that I am going ...I don't want to stay here..any more...
Aafter that Alex told me and convinced
me to accompany her...to Banglore..and he insisted...she should never know..he
told me to go with her..So I also went with her...till now my child was not
aware...her pappa told me to go with her...while saying this molly was bursting
out of immense sadness..when Allena hear these things she embraced molly and
they started to weep...together
Jasim : Sir..Did you understood what
really happened.. ? Sharath's death was not an accident... it was a murder
committed by Alexander in an impulsive decision..on that night..Alexander saw
Sharath accidently..but that face was carved in his mind so deeply..so Alexander
was able to identify Sharath in an instance...so he tried to create an
accident...to kill Sharath..and Freddy tried to save Sharath...since all these
things happened so quickly..both Freddy & Thankappan thought that Alexander
also was trying to save Sharath...but when Slexander realized that Sharath is
not yet dead...and Freddy and Thankappan is going to help him..in order to stop
them he lied to them some body is coming...he knew that they will not try to
verify..it..
while car was stopped Sharath saw the number
plate ...he thought they may help him...but when they left him..he tried to
call his friend...he was also not picking up the phone...sir..did you notice..in
post mortem report..it is clear that there was a wound on Sharath's
forehead...it was not fatal...but..when he realized that..he is going to die..he
wanted to give a clue about the people
who killed him...but at that time because of the blood coming from his forehead..his
eye sight was blurred... so...he was unable to type...any punctuation or
letters...so he decided to use only numbers...may be..he identified the car..because of it's fancy
number...and so he knew..this will be enough for his father to identify...the
killers....
Samson : Unbelievable...Excellent
Observation Jasim...So Now we need to arrest Chandrashegaran..where is he ? Any
clue ?
Jasim : entire police force in Kerala
is searching for him..he will not escape....

was everywhere in bus stand ...railway station..there were news about him on

Constable Sugunan came to see Jasim..he
was in the investigation team..
Jasim : where are rest of the team members ?
Sugunan : They got transferred..If
necessary we can call them here...
Jasim : Wait...First you can tell
what you know about this case .
Sugunan : The accident was happened
at midnight after 1 O clock..Sharath's home is in Ernakulam. He was working in
a company here in Trivandrum. He was returning back after a second show
movie...We found cinema ticket in his pocket..when the vehicle hit him he fell
on the road side..but he had no fatal injuries.. the people who hit him
actually could have saved him....he died because of blood loss..there was a
mobile phone in his hand..there was a number displayed..
Sugunan took case file and he found
the number ..it was 557777. We came to the conclusion that it may be some
random number accidentally typed while he was injured.
There is a reason for that..there
is only 5 & 7 and they are repeated..we can easily say that it is not a
phone number..still I asked Sharath's father Chandrashegaran and Sharath's best
friend Binoy..they both said..they have no idea about these numbers..Sharath
tried to call Binoy..while he was laying there..
Jasim : So that’s it..you have
nothing more to add ?
Sugunan : No sir.. that is all I
know about this case..Since there was no witness for the accident..that case is
closed as a road accident..
Jasim : ok then..Thank you Sugunan..you
can place that file here and go..
Jasim took case file and found
Sharath's home address..Suddenly Jasim called Samson and told him..I got some
clues about the person..I need to goto Ernakulam for further investigation..
Jasim went to Sharath's house in Ernakulam.
That house was locked..he saw a young man in the neighborhood..
Jasim : hey..where did they go ?
young man : uncle went to some
place..it's been three or four months now..
Jasim : Ok..what is your name ?
Young man : I am Binoy..I am a
friend of Sharath..do you know him ? or you came to see Chandrashegar uncle..?
Jasim : Binoy...I am a police
officer..I am here for an investigation..First I need to open this door and
search here..after that we need to talk..
Binoy : Are you here to
investigate about Sharath's accident ? Sir did you got any clue about it ?
Jasim : that is also a part of
this case..Sharath tried to call you..in his dying moments..did you know that?
Binoy : yes..sir..Inspector told
me about this.. I was the only friend he had..his father had no mobile....even
though we tried uncle refused to accept a mobile phone..maybe it was too
complicated for him.. I had put my mobile for charging in another room..So I
didn't hear it ring..and I was asleep..damn it..I couldn't save him..
Jasim : even if you picked up the
phone..you would not have been able to save his life.. he was in
Trivandram..and you were here..So it was not your fault..man..just relax..

Jasim broke the lock..and entered into the
Sharath's house.. Binoy pointed at a family photo and told..this is Sharath..this
is..his mother Savithri..and this is Chandrashegharan uncle..
Jasim : Savithri..Where is she ?
binoy : She died first..that was
a very big shock for Sharath and uncle..that was also an accident..doctors told
us they need to do a immediate operation..but...it's cost was not affordable by
Sharath and uncle..because of lack of money..operation was not performed so she
died..you may have read it in news paper..it was a big issue..here..it was
before 2 years..so...you may have forgotten..
Jasim : I can't recollect..anything
about it..did Sharath have any other friend ?
Binoy : No...only me...even in
his child hood nobody allowed their
children to play with Sharath...
Jasim : Why ?
Binoy : Before many
years..Chandashegaran uncle was a thief..he used to pickpocket and all..when he
fell in love with Savithri...and they got married..somehow she convinced him to
leave all that behind..and earn money by working somewhere..and he wore an oath
to her that he will never do any theft..or fraud activities..and as far as I
know he kept his promise till date..but still people are not ready to accept
him as one of them..they always..see him as a thief..and nobody wanted their
child to play with Sharath..only becase his father was a thief..
Jasim : Ok Binoy..you may need to
comeTtrivanrum...one day..I am taking this family photo..
Jasim searched the entire house thoroughly and
enquired about Sharath & his family in his neighborhood & some other
places..in Ernakulam..and went back to Trivandrum by train...on the way he
called Samson...
Jasim : Now..everything is clear
for me..I got some clue and photograph of suspect..Now it is just a matter of
time.. we are very close to the end of all this..But in order to confirm
everything..we need to call Achu..(From Freddy's house),Kesav (From Vishwambaran's
bunglow) and Molly,Aleena (Alexander's house) to the police station.. I will
explain everything when I reach there..
soon Jasim reached Trivandrum..as per his
request Samson had called all the people that Jasim asked ..and Kesav
recognized Chandrashegaran as the stranger..and Achu said..his face is very
similar to that lady...Anniie...
Jasim told Samson that....Now
everything is crystal clear ...I will tell you everything...

Jasim called on Thankappan's
mobile..and Thankappan's wife attended the call..
Jasim : Hello...is
it..light...sorry..is it Thankappan ?
Thankappan's wife : No ..I am his
wife..he is sick..what is the matter ?
Jasim : I want to get some
information from Thankappan..Can you tell me the exact location of your house
...?
Thankappan's wife : our house is
in a slum area behind the private bus stand..there are many Thankappans in our
slum So You may need to ask his nick name..I heard you are saying his nick name
"Light Thankappan"..there is nothing wrong in it..you can ask..by his
nick name..
Jasim : Ok then..I will reach
there soon..
Jasim went to the slum area and found light
thankappan's house..by using his nick name..It was a very small house..looked
like a hut..
Thankappan's wife came and opened the door
thankappan's wife: Sir..are you
the one who called earlier?
Jasim : Yes..
Thankappan's wife: this guy was
not going for any work for few weeks..you just try to call him..He is sick...he
always shouts...somebody is coming to kill him..I think he is mad..
Jasim went inside Thankapppan's
room then asked Thankappan's wife to
stay outside..So that they can talk in private..
Jasim : Who is coming to kill you
? You are afraid of whom ?
Thankappan : He killed Alex sir
and Freddy sir..I am sure his next target is me..Please sir you have to protect
me.. my life is in danger...
Jasim : Why..? what have you
done..? Who is doing all this.. ?
Thankappan : Sir...I got into
that car..that was the only mistake I did ...I am innocent sir..
Jasim : We came to know that much
from Vishwambaran and his servants... what happened after that?
Then Thankappan stared to explain
the event...
I was sleeping on the back seat I woke up when
our car hit something..when I looked outside I saw that..a young man...I think
he is around 25(age)..was lying there..he was covered in lot of blood..when our
vehicle hit him he fell on road side with his bike..he had a mobile phone..I
was shocked to see this..Alexander & Freddy was arguing..Alexander sir was
telling it was Freddy sir's mistake & Freddy sir was saying it was
Alexander sir's mistake...
From their argument what I understood
is...while Freddy was driving ..accidently this young guy..came in front of the
the vehicle...maybe..he was talking to someone over mobile..by seeing him..
both(Alexander & Freddy) were trying to avoid accident by suddenly changing
vehicles direction...but.. some how..car hit that poor fellow..
finally me & Freddy sir decided to save
that guy...when we got down of the vehicle.. suddenly Alexander sir saw someone
was coming to wards us...so let us go...if we stay there ..they will identify
us and we will be in trouble..by hearing this without thinking anything else we
both got into the car and we went ..I was looking through the rear
windshield...I saw that he was still alive and he was calling us for help.. But
I didn't see any one else behind him.. on the way Freddy sir & Alexander
sir was arguing about the event..Freddy was saying we could have saved him... Alexander
was defending this by saying..if anyone had seen us then they will be more
interested in punishing us rather than saving him..I think..both were right..I
got down near my home..and came
here(home)
Jasim : Did you try to find who
was that guy..?and what happened to him..?
Thankappan : It was not
necessary..sir..News came to us..I found the news about him on a news paper
with in few days.. I learned that his name was Sharath...after the accident he
was alive for few hours...he died only because of the blood loss..he had no
fatal injuries..In that news paper, they had written that people who were
involved in this accident could have saved him.. when I saw this ...I was
completely broken because of the guilt..
We thought that nobody saw
us...but..
Jasim : But...what happened ?
tell me quick..
Thankappan : after few days
Alexander sir came to see me..he asked me repeatedly did I tell anything about
accident the to any one ? I swore upon god..I never told anyone..After
reassuring this again and again.. he told me that..you have to be very
careful...there is a father coming for vengeance..upon his son's
murderers...after that I heard..about the death of the Freddy sir and now
Alexander sir..He will try to kill me .. Please sir..protect me...
Jasim : For time being I will
arrange two guards for you..you don't need to worry about it..you may have to
say all these thing in court also..
Thankappan : Yes sir.. I will..My
life is now in your hand..
suddenly Jasim got a call from
Vishwambaran..
Vishwambaran : Is it Jasim ...My
servent kesav told me something very important to me..just now..around one week
after the party..one guy came here(Vishwambaran's bunglow) and asked..who all
were there in Dr.Alexander's car ..and this bloody fool Kesav told him about Freddy
& Alexander...without asking anything to him..
Jasim : He didn't tell anything
about..Thankappan.. ?
Vishwambaran : No...No...He di
n't see Thankappan..he also went inside along with me..So he was not aware of Thankappan
Jasim : Can he tell anything
about 'That guy" ?
Vishwambaran : I asked him about
it ...He noticed that that guy was very lean and shorter than a normal man..he
remembers nothing else..
Jasim : Ok thank you...
Then Jasim called office..and asked them to arrange a meeting for Jasim &
the investigation team who were in charge of the accident case reported on 26th
October in which Sharath was killed.

Jasim reached Vishwambaran's bungalow.
Servant came and opened the gate..Vishwambaran was waiting near the door .he
was wearing silky jubba & dhothi. He was a very fair man with pleasant
face..even though he was bald headed he had a very attractive personality..he
was wearing a gold chain..bracelet..too...
Jasim : I am here to get some information..regarding...
Vishwambaran : Samson called
me...I know why you are here..we were ..I know him for years.. I was terrified
to hear of both murders..
Jasim : both ?
Vishwambaran : Yes..both..I mean
Dr Alexander and that young charming poor fellow.. Dr.Freddy..It was a shock
for me..
Jasim : You know both of them ?
Vishwambaran : Yes..I know Alex
for years...When he was working in Ernakulam..I met with a major accident
there...I was taken to hospital.. & he treated me..He saved my life...all
this happened long ago..At that time I was not as rich as now...
Jasim : Oh!...ok then how do you
know Freddy ?
Vishwambaran : I knew him only
for few months..he was my son's classmate..or batchmate...that I am not sure..I
knew Freddy through him only..Now what you want to know ?
Jasim : after the party Alexander
went very late from here..isn't it ?
Vishwambaran :Yes..he left very
late..He was drunk..So I didn't allow him to drive...I told him that I will
arrange someone to drop him..to his house..
At first he didn't agree..he was
telling ..he has no problem..he can drive.. But..still I didn't allow him to go
alone... I was afraid ...if anything happened to him.. on that night..I will be
the responsible person..Because he came here because I compelled him..
While we were arguing about it..Freddy came
there to say farewell(bye)..

Freddy : Why are you guys..arguing ?
Vishwambaran : Listen son..This
is Dr.Alexander..he is drunk..So I told him to wait for a little bit.. I will send
someone with him..so that he can reach home safe..but he is not ready..to
wait...what is your opinion..?
Freddy : (Freddy looked Alex from
toe to head) He will reach.. safe...but not to his house..to cemetery...
Alexander shouted at Freddy..
Alexander : Who the hell are you
to judge me.. ? I am not drinking for first time. I have done this before while
drunk.
Alex suddenly got into his
car..and tried to drive.. but as soon as he reached near the gate..he lost control little bit.. but he
managed to stop the car..this attracted people’s attention...Car stopped just
before hitting a tree...After stopping the car he jumped out of the vehicle and
checked front.. & he thought car hit on tree or something ...by seeing all this
me and Freddy ran to him..
Vishwambaran : this is what I
said ...Please listen to me Alex..wait..for a little bit.. I will arrange
someone..
Alex : Whom ? Whom you will
arrange ? you are saying someone.. someone..then where is this "someone
" ?
Freddy : If you don't have any
objection then I can give you a lift ..I am going the same route..My home is
few km before your home.. "someone" will deliver your vehicle tomorrow
morning..
(while saying all this..Freddy
was pointing his hand towards his Maruti 800)
Alexander : This one.. ? I am not
coming in this ..crap..I will come only in my Car..
Vishwambaran : Come on Alex.. it
is just a matter of hardly 1 hour...please try to understand..and go with him..
Alex : I have nothing more to
say.. I am not going to leave my car...
Freddy : I can drive..your
car...only if it is ok for you..I will drive till your home and and I can walk
to my home.
Alex : You can drive till your
home.. after that I will drive..
Alex looked at Vishwambaran and said..
This guy will never get a chance
to buy such an expensive car. He will not be able to afford it in his life
time..So he can just fulfill his ambition by driving my car..
Then Alex & Freddy left in
Alex's car..me went inside my house..
after hearing all this..
Jasim : So what happened in that
journey..? that is still a mystery..and there is no way we can uncover that
mystery..because both of them are dead..
Suddenly Vishwambaran's one of
the servant(Kumar) objected to it..
Kumar : No..sir..there was a
third person in that vehicle...
because of the shock Jasim &
Vishwambaran looked each other
then Kumar explained that day...
while you people were arguing
there...I was arguing with a person named Thankappan..Also Known As "Light
Thankappan" he brought decoration light and other things for the party..he
earns money by arranging lights for marriages..party..etc..
When I arranged him I told him
that everything will be over by 10 O clock night..But Party went on ..till midnight
1 O Clock.. So he asked me to arrange a vehicle for him..but I was not ready to
do it..all this happened because..light Thankappan's helper went to another
function with the vehicle in which they came..here..Since he got liquor free
..he drank a lot. So ..while we were
arguing.. just after Vishwambaran sir..went inside..we saw that Alex sir's car
is approaching gate..
suddenly Thankappan jumped
infront of the car...then Freddy sir stopped the car(sudden break) ..
Freddy : What the hell man... you
almost killed your self... what the hell is this ?
Thankappan : Sir.. My home is few
km before your home sir.. please give me a lift..sir..
Freddy : No way..
Thankappan : please sir I am
begging you..there is no other vehicle will come in this way.. please sir..
please..
Alex : who the hell are you to
decide Freddy ? Mr . thankappan...you can get in..
(Alexander did this because of
his superiority complex)
Freddy : what are you staring at...
get in you bloody...crap..you aer drunk...? you should not make any
sound...there..just take a nap there till we reach..
Thankappan got into the back seat
& laid there..Freddy was in driving seat ,Alex was sitting beside
Freddy..and then they left.
Jasim : where is this Thankappans
house ?
Kumar : I am the one who arranged
him for the party..I think I have his mobile number..
then Kumar took his mobile and
found Thankappan’s number.
Kumar : this is his number
sir..note this..9972949696 Jasim took his mobile and saved that number in
it..and said farewell to Vishwambaran & kumar.. and went to see
Thankappan...

4 Suicide (MASTERMINDS) [EN]
On Wednesday morning he got up
& dressed to go to office. Jasim was having his breakfast when he got a
call in his phone..
Samson : hello Jasim .. you have
to reach Alex's house as soon as possible..
Jasim : by Alex you mean
Alexander ..that doctor..isn't it? No way I am not going to come there. He is a
very stubborn character..
Samson : Jasim..Alex..Alex is
dead.. He died by drinking poisoned liquor..I don't understand why he did this.
Do you know.. he was strong enough to manage himself when his wife and daughter
left him after a quarrel between them..but now..suddenly he did this.. I am
confused..
Jasim : Sir..don't worry.. let's
try to find why he did this.. I will come there as soon as possible..
Jasim washed his hands & left
for Alexander's house...
When Jasim reached there, there
was a huge crowd..of people and police..Samson was sitting in chair with a grieving
face.
Jasim : sir.. did you inform his
family ..?
Samson : They are in Banglore..I
informed them..they are on the way..
Samson: I still can't believe he
did this..he was a very bold guy..he was a very tough guy.. he could handle any
problem..by himself.. he will never do such a thing..
Suddenly Jasim got a call ..it was from office
.Hand writing expert's analysis report was ready..according to the expert..both
texts were written by men..One was Freddy and other one is a old man..
Jasim : I will reach soon..
and Jasim disconnected the call.
Jasim : Sir.. We got a crucial
turning point in Freddy's murder case..do you remember I told you about a piece
of paper. Expert’s report came. According to him..2nd hand writing is of an old
man..I need to go there ...
Samson : (Samson was still in
shock) Jasim .. this cannot be a suicide... You have to investigate it.. I will
get the permission from DGP..Now you can go to office..while I will try to find
something..If I remember correctly he had a habit of writing diary..I will look
for his diary.. we may get some valuable clues..from it
Jasim went to office..
Samson entered into the bed room
in which Alex's dead body was found..He was found dead in a bedroom on the
ground floor. There was something like form which come out his mouth. Shatterd
pieces of whiskey bottle were scattered all around the room. There was a half
glass of whiskey found on top of the table which was close to the bed. There were
many other things scattered pieces were there in that room..Samson understood
that all this things may have broken while Alex was struggling for his
life..soon dead body was taken for post-mortem.
Meanwhile Jasim reached
office..Handwriting expert was very confident about his findings...He told he
is damn sure that 2nd one is an old man..
Then Jasim tried to
recollect...the things that Achu had said.
Ofcourse..It is a old man..How did Achu reach the
assumption that it is a woman? He himself said "she" was wearing
gloves and socks..and coverd with a blanket....and "She" was a
mute..So he didn't even hear her voice..he believed it was a woman only because
"She" wrote her name as Annie..
To confirm his theories he called
Achu..and told everything so far and then
Jasim : How did you came to know
that was a woman? Only because of her name..?
Achu : that is one reason ..but
another thing that I noticed is physical appearance. "she" was
shorter than normal men..& she was lean too..then I thought..
Jasim : Ok..then...
just after disconnecting the call,
Jasim got a call from Samson..
Samson : hello Jasim.. I got past
three years diary. I just read two of of them..most of the content is just an
ordinary doctor's life..there are no events or persons..that we can suspect..I
didn't read them completely..
anyway you just come here ..I have few
doubts..I already told DGP about the case..I will tell you everything in
detail..
soon Jasim reached Samson's office..
Samson was holding a diary..by
showing it to Jasim he told most of the content is boring..just an ordinary
life..there is nothing to suspect..in it.. But..few pages of this year are
missing..somebody ..tore them..from the book. If pages of an ordinary book are
torn that means there is some mistake in writing..But each page in a diary is a
day..So if it is torn that means..that day went wrong..pages starting from
October 20th to 27th are missing..and few pages..of last few days.. Jasim.. I
think... these ..missing pages have something ..to tell..
Jasim : Didn't you ask his wife
and daughter about those days ?
Samson : I tried ..but they are
no giving any clear answer..it seems they are trying to hide something..
Jasim : Ok I will try now..
Samson : Jasim.. Some how you
have to solve this mystery...I want to know what happened to him..
Jasim consoled Samson..and nodded
his head to ensure that he will find the truth about Alex's death..then he went
inside and called Pappu..near him.
Jasim : Do you believe that your
Alex sir committed suicide..?
Pappu just nodded his head in
negative..
Jasim : We also don’t believe
that..Then don't you think we have to solve this mystery...and find what happened
to him ?
Pappu : Certainly..sir..I want to
know what happened to my Alex sir..
Jasim : then you have to answer
my questions..without hiding any facts ...you got me ?
Pappu : Ok sir.. I will tell you
everything that I know..
Jasim : What happend in his house
between Oct 20th to Oct 27th..?
Pappu : I don't know what exactly
happened here..But I felt something fishy.... I saw one day Alex sir beat his
daughter..I think that was the first time he was beating her..then there was a
quarrel between sir & Moly madam..just after two days..they went to Bangalore..they
told me that Aleena (Alex's Daughter) got a job there..Since she is staying
away from home for the first time..Moly madam also went with her..
Samson : I know them very
well..Aleena was so dear to Alex..that's why he thought her name from his
name..Moly(Alex's wife) also liked that name..even though Alex was a very rough
& tough character..He was always very nice to his family.
Pappu : Yes..sir.. he missed them
very much.. after that he used to drink a lot.. He never went outside... and he
didn't allow anyone to see him..it went like that another two days..But On the
third day he went for a party to Viswambaran's buangalow .. he went for the
function only because he had given word to Vishwambaran..few days before all
this..
A sudden change in expression on
Pappu's face was noticed by Jasim....it seems Pappu was remembering something..
Jasim : What is it ? Anything peculiar
happened that day ?
after thinking for few seconds..
Pappu : Yes..sir.. there was a
small incident that I remember now..At that time I didn't give much importance
to that..but now I think Something went wrong that night..
Jasim : What was that ?
Samson : cut the crap.. spit it out !
Pappu : It was October 25th..Alex
sir reached here after midnight .He was terrified ..he just jumped out of the
car and ran to the front of the car..he was looking on the bumper &
grills..then he took the hose that we use for watering plants & cleaned the
front of the car..Since I know his character I didn't ask him..I just stood
there and saw all this.
Jasim : Thank You very
..much..Mr. Pappu..Now we need to know rest of the things from..Vishwambaran..
